     Major Beauchamp Victor Santry Domvile was born on 8 January 1864.1 He was the son of Reverend Charles Domvile and Augusta Pratt Oldnall-Russell.2 He married, firstly, Harriet Matilda Croly, daughter of Reverend R. Croly.1 He married, secondly, Violet Florence Mary Sheppard, daughter of William Thomas Sheppard, in 1922.1 He died in 1941, killed by enemy action on baord SS Georgia.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Munster Fusiliers.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1902, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was a King's Messenger.1
