     Lady Edith Margaret Emily Mary Foljambe was born circa 1880. She was the daughter of Cecil George Saville Foljambe, 1st Earl of Liverpool and Susan Louisa Cavendish.1 She married Brig.-Gen. d'Arcy Legard, son of Reverend Francis Digby Legard and Jane Vernon-Harcourt, on 19 November 1908.1 She died on 3 November 1962.1
     From 19 November 1908, her married name became Legard.

     Brig.-Gen. d'Arcy Legard was born on 5 June 1873.2 He was the son of Reverend Francis Digby Legard and Jane Vernon-Harcourt. He married Lady Edith Margaret Emily Mary Foljambe, daughter of Cecil George Saville Foljambe, 1st Earl of Liverpool and Susan Louisa Cavendish, on 19 November 1908.1 He died on 9 March 1953 at age 79.2
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.2 He fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1902.2 He fought in the First World War, he was mentioned in despatches.2 He gained the rank of Colonel in the 17th Lancers.2 He was awarded the Chevalier, Ordre national de la Légion d'honneur.2 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1918.2 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1919.2 He gained the rank of Honorary Brigadier-General in 1924.2

     John de Ferrers, 1st Lord Ferrers (of Chartley) was born on 20 June 1271 at Chartley, Staffordshire, EnglandG.1 He was the son of Robert de Ferrers, 6th Earl of Derby and Alianor de Bohun. He married Hawise Muscegros, daughter of Robert de Muscegros and Agnes de Ferrers, circa 1301.1 He died in 1312 at Gascogne, FranceG, from poisoning.2
     He was created 1st Lord Ferrers, of Chartley [England by writ] on 6 February 1298/99.3

     Robert de Ferrers, 6th Earl of Derby was born circa 1239 at Tutbury Castle, Staffordshire, England.2 He was the son of William de Ferrers, 5th Earl of Derby and Margaret de Quincy.1 He married, firstly, Marie de Lusignan, daughter of Hugues XI de Lusignan, Comte de la Marche and Yolande de Bretagne, Comtesse de Penthièvre et Porhoët, in 1249. He married, secondly, Alianor de Bohun, daughter of Sir Humphrey de Bohun and Eleanor de Briouze, in 1269. He died circa 27 April 1279.2
     He succeeded as the 6th Earl of Derby in 1254. He lived at Chartley, Staffordshire, EnglandG.3
