     Grace Mary Stanton was baptised on 25 May 1859 at St. Mary the Virgin, Dover, Kent, England.2 She was the daughter of William Stanton.3 She married Richard Taylor Dunbar, son of Lt.-Col. Thomas Clement Dunbar and Caroline Adriana Matthews, on 11 March 1890.1 She married Richard Taylor Dunbar, son of Lt.-Col. Thomas Clement Dunbar and Caroline Adriana Matthews, on 5 February 1912.1 She died on 23 January 1935 at age 75 at Dover, Kent, England.2
     From 11 March 1890, her married name became Dunbar.1 Legal objections were raised to their first marriage.1

     William Henry George Dunbar of Kilconzie was born on 10 June 1893 at Broadway, Weymouth, Dorset, England.1,2 He was the son of Richard Taylor Dunbar and Grace Mary Stanton.3 He married, firstly, Stella Kathleen Underdown, daughter of Henry Underdown, on 17 January 1917.1 He married, secondly, Joan Marguerite Leopard, daughter of Captain Sydney Church Leopard, on 25 October 1941.1 He married, thirdly, Irene Mary Frith, daughter of Charles Edwin Frith, on 23 September 1967.1 He died on 24 March 1987 at age 93 at Canterbury, Kent, England.1,4,2
     He fought in the First World War.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)1 He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)1 He was branch manager of the National Provident Bank.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Honorary Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Artillery.1 In 1968 he was legitimated with his younger brother under the Legitimation Act (Scotland), including as regards remainder to the baronetcy.1 He wrote the book Dunbars' 1000 Years.1 In 1984 he unsuccessfully claimed the baronetcy Dunbar of Mochrum.1
