     Major George Naismith Bowden is the son of Lt.-Col. G. T. Bowden.2 He married Elizabeth Pamela Marion Durand, daughter of Lt.-Cdr. Mortimer Henry Marion Durand and Beatrice Garvan-Sheridan, on 31 August 1957.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the Loyal (North Lancashire) Regiment.1 He adopted Veronica Mary Patricia Bowden.1 He adopted Alexander Dickon Naismith.1

John Campbell, 7th of Knockbury and 11th of Kilberry was born on 26 March 1872.2 He was the son of John Campbell, 6th of Knockbury and 10th of Kilberry.2 He married Marion Isobel Durand, daughter of Colonel Sir Edward Law Durand, 1st Bt. and Maude Ellen Heber-Percy, on 27 August 1913.1 He died on 7 February 1928 at age 55.1
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Argyllshire.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Argyllshire.1 He lived at Kilberry, Argyllshire, ScotlandG.1
