     Janet Dewar was born in 1787 at Kilmany, Fife, Scotland^G.¹ She was the daughter of James Dewar of Balmerino and Jean Gordon.²

     Isabella Husband married Andrew Dewar, son of James Dewar of Balmerino and Jean Gordon, on 7 November 1815.¹ She died on 13 December 1840.¹
     From 7 November 1815, her married name became Dewar.

     James Dewar was born in 1820.¹ He was the son of Andrew Dewar and Isabella Husband.²

     Hugh Bruce Deas Dewar was born in 1825.¹ He was the son of Andrew Dewar and Isabella Husband.² He married Janet Moyes Deas, daughter of Francis Deas, in 1852.¹ He died on 15 December 1896.¹
     He lived at Inverleith Row, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹ He and Francis James Dewar were partner of H. B. and F. J. Dewar Solicitors at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹

     Janet Moyes Deas was the daughter of Francis Deas.² She married Hugh Bruce Deas Dewar, son of Andrew Dewar and Isabella Husband, in 1852.¹ She died on 23 August 1901.¹
     From 1852, her married name became Dewar.

     Andrew Dewar was the son of Hugh Bruce Deas Dewar and Janet Moyes Deas.² He died on 22 March 1860, infant.¹

     Francis James Dewar was born on 29 April 1855.¹ He was the son of Hugh Bruce Deas Dewar and Janet Moyes Deas.² He married Katharine Beatrice Wrigley, daughter of Arthur Wrigley, on 2 September 1896.¹ He died on 18 January 1921 at age 65.¹
     He was educated at Edinburgh Academy, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹ He was a practising Writer to the Signet (W.S.) in 1880.¹ He and Hugh Bruce Deas Dewar were partner of H. B. and F. J. Dewar Solicitors at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹ He lived at Drum, Colinton, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹

     Arthur Wrigley lived at The Dale, Hoylake, Cheshire, England^G.¹

     Katharine Beatrice Wrigley was the daughter of Arthur Wrigley.² She married Francis James Dewar, son of Hugh Bruce Deas Dewar and Janet Moyes Deas, on 2 September 1896.¹ She died in 1908.¹
     From 2 September 1896, her married name became Dewar.
