     Hon. Ellen Rice was the daughter of Francis William Rice, 5th Baron Dynevor of Dynevor and Harriet Ives Barker.2 She married Reverend James Gerald Joyce on 20 September 1855.1 She died on 21 May 1924.1
     She was appointed Lady of Grace, Order of St. John of Jerusalem (L.G.St.J.)1 From 20 September 1855, her married name became Joyce. She was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1920.1
