     Cecil Diccon Earle was born on 12 November 1919.¹ He was the son of Brigadier Eric Greville Earle and Noel Downes-Martin.² He married Elizabeth Anne Sainsbury, daughter of E. A. Sainsbury, on 30 November 1943.¹ He died on 15 November 1945 at age 26, accidentally killed.¹
     He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Horse Artillery.¹

     E. A. Sainsbury lived at Weston-super-Mare, Somerset, England^G.¹

     Colonel David Eric Martin Earle was born on 14 August 1921.¹ He was the son of Brigadier Eric Greville Earle and Noel Downes-Martin.² He married Betty Isobel Shield, daughter of Lawford Shield, on 8 April 1947.¹ He died on 4 December 2005 at age 84.³
