     Hon. James Murray was born on 4 May 1810.1 He was the son of Alexander Murray, 7th Lord Elibank and Catherine Steuart.2 He was baptised on 24 May 1810 at Eddlestone, Peebles-shire, ScotlandG.3 He married Isabella Erskine, daughter of James Erskine of Aberdona and unknown daughter Tytler, on 3 May 1832.1 He died on 17 February 1844 at age 33 at BorneoG, killed.1
     He was a practising advocate.1

     His name was legally changed to Alexander Erskine Erskine-Murray.2 He was given the name of Alexander Erskine Murray at birth.2 He lived at Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.1

     James Robert Erskine-Murray was born on 24 October 1868.1 He was the son of Alexander Erskine Erskine-Murray and Helen Pringle.2 He married Alleine Frederica Florinda Gildea, daughter of Maj.-Gen. George Frederick Gildea and Fanny Power Florinda Gascoyne, in 1898.1 He died on 12 February 1927 at age 58.1
     He graduated with a Doctor of Science (D.Sc.)1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society of Edinburgh (F.R.S.E.)1 He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Air Force.1

     Maj.-Gen. George Frederick Gildea was born on 10 November 1831 at County Mayo, Ireland.2 He was the son of Reverend George Robert Gildea and Esther Green.3 He married Fanny Power Florinda Gascoyne, daughter of Henry Ireland Gascoyne and Elizabeth Trench, on 23 March 1863 at Ballinasloe Church, Ballinasloe, County Galway, Ireland.2 He married Elizabeth Campbell on 18 August 1874 at Bonhill, Dumbartonshire, Scotland.2 He died on 24 April 1898 at age 66 at Tullichewan Castle, Dumbartonshire, Scotland.2
     He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1
