     Maria Louisa Dames-Longworth was born circa 1864 at Glynwood, County Westmeath, Ireland^G.¹ She was the daughter of Francis Travers Dames-Longworth and Frances Tennison Noble.¹ She married Sir Langer Meade Loftus Owen, son of Sir William Owen and Elizabeth Carey, on 5 September 1888 at Glynwood, Athlone, County Westmeath, Ireland^G.¹ She died in 1917 at Ellsmere, Hunters Hill, New South Wales, Australia^G.¹
