Reverend Edward Douglas Tinling1

     Reverend Edward Douglas Tinling was born on 2 December 1815 at Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, England. He was the son of Rear-Admiral Charles Ashley Stubbs Tinling and Sarah Bullock. He was baptised on 29 December 1815 at Suffolk, England. He married Katherine Maria Elton, daughter of Sir Charles Abraham Elton, 6th Bt. and Sarah Smith, on 24 August 1841.1 He died on 2 December 1897 at age 82.2
     He held the office of Canon of Gloucester.1 He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was Rector between 1844 and 1847 at West Worlington, Devon, England. He was Inspector of Training Colleges between 1847 and 1881.1

Maria Katherine Elton1

     Maria Katherine Elton was the daughter of Sir Charles Abraham Elton, 6th Bt. and Sarah Smith.2 She married Major George Robbins on 28 May 1833.1 She died on 24 December 1899, without issue.1
     From 28 May 1833, her married name became Robbins.

Major George Robbins1

     Major George Robbins married Maria Katherine Elton, daughter of Sir Charles Abraham Elton, 6th Bt. and Sarah Smith, on 28 May 1833.1 He died on 29 November 1873.1
     He lived at Forest Lodge, Southampton, Hampshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Major in the 17th Lancers.1

Jane Octavia Elton1

     Jane Octavia Elton was the daughter of Sir Charles Abraham Elton, 6th Bt. and Sarah Smith.2 She married Rev. Canon W. B. H. Brookfield on 17 November 1841.1 She died on 27 November 1896.1
     From 17 November 1841, her married name became Brookfield.

     Rev. Canon W. B. H. Brookfield married Jane Octavia Elton, daughter of Sir Charles Abraham Elton, 6th Bt. and Sarah Smith, on 17 November 1841.1 He died on 12 July 1874.1
     He held the office of Chaplain-in-Ordinary to HM Queen Victoria.1 He was the Rector at Somerby, Lincolnshire, EnglandG.1 He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1

     Sir Ambrose Elton, 9th Bt. was born on 23 May 1869.1 He was the son of Sir Edmond Harry Elton, 8th Bt. and Mary Agnes Elton.2 He married Dorothy Wynne, daughter of Arthur Robert Wynne, on 18 April 1901.1 He died on 11 July 1951 at age 82.1
     He graduated from Jesus College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was admitted to Middle Temple in 1896 entitled to practise as a barrister.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Somerset.1 He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Elton, of Bristol [G.B., 1717] on 17 July 1920.1

     Major Guy Molesworth Kindersley was born on 28 February 1877.2 He is the son of Edward Nassau Molesworth Kindersley and Ada Good Murray.2 He married Kathleen Agnes Rhoda Elton, daughter of Sir Edmond Harry Elton, 8th Bt. and Mary Agnes Elton, on 30 July 1903.2 He died on 30 November 1956 at age 79.2
     He was educated at Marlborough College, Marlborough, Wiltshire, EnglandG.2 He was admitted to Lincoln's Inn in 1901 entitled to practise as a barrister.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Hertfordshire.2 He fought in the First World War, he was mentioned in despatches twice.1 He gained the rank of Inspector, Quartermaster-General's Service in 1917.2 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1918.2 He was director of Clerical, Medical and General Life Assurance Society, General Reversionary and Investment Company.2 He was partner of Montagu Loebl Stanley and Company, stockbrokers.2 He was chairman of Walker and Honfrays Ltd, Manchester Brewery County Ltd, Wilson and Walker Brewery Ltd and Eyre and Spottiswoode (Publishers) Ltd.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Hitchin between 1923 and 1931.1
