     Emilie Maton was the daughter of Leonard James Maton.1 She married, firstly, Commander Douglas Walter Hamilton-Gordon, son of Douglas George Hamilton-Gordon and Edith Anne Bullock, on 20 June 1903.1 She married, secondly, Commander Arthur Evans, son of Reverend Arthur Evans, on 14 October 1915.1 She died on 18 September 1952.1
     From 20 June 1903, her married name became Hamilton-Gordon.1 From 14 October 1915, her married name became Evans.1

     Commander Hugh Hamilton-Gordon was born on 14 June 1883.1 He was the son of Douglas George Hamilton-Gordon and Edith Anne Bullock.1 He married, firstly, Violet Blanche Stanbury, daughter of S. Stanbury, on 1 September 1912.1 He and Violet Blanche Stanbury were divorced in 1924.1 He married, secondly, Katherine May, daughter of Thomas Edward May, on 14 September 1925.1 He died on 8 May 1960 at age 76, without issue.1
     He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1919.1
