     Sir Charles Seely, 1st Bt. was born on 11 August 1833.2 He was the son of Charles Seely and Mary Hilton.1 He married Emily Evans, daughter of William Evans and Mary Nicholson, on 11 August 1857.2 He died on 16 April 1915 at age 81.3
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for Nottingham between 1869 and 1874.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)
