Lt.-Col. William Arthur Heathcote1

     Lt.-Col. William Arthur Heathcote was born on 16 June 1808.2 He was the son of Reverend Samuel Heathcote and Catherine Pickering.2 He married Eliza Walsh, daughter of J. Walsh, in 1831.2 He died on 22 August 1882 at age 74.2
     He gained the rank of Temporary-Colonel in the Wiltshire Militia.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Wiltshire.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Wiltshire.2 He lived at Rolleston Manor, Wiltshire, England.2

Eliza Heathcote1

     Eliza Heathcote was the daughter of Lt.-Col. William Arthur Heathcote and Eliza Walsh.2 She married Reverend Gilbert Vyvyan Heathcote, son of Rt. Hon. Sir William Heathcote, 5th Bt. and Hon. Caroline Frances Perceval, on 29 March 1853.1 She died on 16 August 1864.1

     He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was Supernumary of the Diocese of Glasgow.1

     Mary Susan Rind was the daughter of Major William James Rind.2 She married Reverend Gilbert Arthur Heathcote, son of Reverend Gilbert Vyvyan Heathcote and Eliza Heathcote, on 2 July 1878.1 She died on 24 June 1935.1
     From 2 July 1878, her married name became Heathcote.
