     Reverend Francis Harcourt Gooch was born on 20 May 1842.1 He was the son of Reverend William Gooch and Anne Jarrett.2 He married Catherine Paine, daughter of Richard Paine, on 28 April 1868.1 He died on 3 April 1931 at age 88.1
     He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was the Vicar at Thursley, Surrey, EnglandG.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Suffolk.1

     Richard Francis Knight Gooch was born on 24 September 1872.1 He was the son of Reverend Francis Harcourt Gooch and Catherine Paine.2 He married Gladys Jervis, daughter of John Swynfen St. Vincent Jervis, on 31 July 1918.1 He died on 29 May 1938 at age 65.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Warwickshire Yeomanry.1 He was awarded the Order of the Nile.1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)1 He was Aide-de-Camp to the Governor of Ceylon.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1
