He married, firstly, Aleida van Gelre, daughter of Otto II 'de Lamme' Graaf van Gelre en Zutphen and Philippe de Dammartin-d'Aumale, in 1280.¹ He married, secondly, Elisabeth von Virneburg on 25 March 1286.¹ He died on 23 March 1308.¹

     Katarina von Kleve-Hülchrath was born in 1280.¹ She was the daughter of Dietrich 'Luf' II von Kleve-Hülchrath Edelherr von Tomburg Grevenbroich and Aleida van Gelre.¹ She married Dietrich VI Graf von Katzenelnbogen in 1300.¹ She died in 1360.¹
