     Edmund Malet Vaughan was born on 12 February 1840.1 He was the son of Hon. William Malet Vaughan and Louisa Emily Wigan.1 He married Marie Celeste Vaughan, daughter of Hon. George Lawrence Vaughan and Mary Josephine Roche O'Shea, on 26 April 1877.1 He died on 10 May 1882 at age 42.1
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Staffordshire.1 He lived at Lapley, Staffordshire, EnglandG.1
