     Louisa Dorothea Wedderburn was born on 8 June 1786 at Inchture, Perthshire, ScotlandG.2,3 She was the daughter of John Wedderburn and Alice Dundas.1,2 She married General John Hope, 4th Earl of Hopetoun, son of John Hope, 2nd Earl of Hopetoun and Jane Oliphant, on 9 February 1803.1 She died on 16 July 1836 at age 50.1
     Her married name became Hope.

     Hon. James Hope-Wallace was born on 7 June 1807.1 He was the son of General John Hope, 4th Earl of Hopetoun and Louisa Dorothea Wedderburn.1 He was baptised on 19 June 1807 at Abercorn, West Lothian, ScotlandG.2 He married Lady Mary Frances Nugent, daughter of George Frederick Nugent, 7th Earl of Westmeath and Lady Elizabeth Emily Moore, on 4 May 1837.1 He died on 7 January 1854 at age 46.1
     He was given the name of James Hope at birth.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Coldstream Guards.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Linlithgowshire.1 He lived at Featherstone Castle, Northumberland, EnglandG.1

Elizabeth Vere Hope1

     Elizabeth Vere Hope was the daughter of Hon. Charles Hope-Vere and Helen Dunbar.1 She married General John Hope, 4th Earl of Hopetoun, son of John Hope, 2nd Earl of Hopetoun and Jane Oliphant, on 7 August 1798.1 She died on 20 March 1801, without issue.1
     Her married name became Hope.

     Lady Mary Catherine Constance Primrose was born circa 1845. She was the daughter of Archibald John Primrose, Lord Dalmeny and Lady Catherine Lucy Wilhelmina Stanhope.1,2 She married Henry Walter Hope, son of George William Hope and Hon. Caroline Georgiana Montagu-Scott, on 8 October 1885.1 She died on 3 September 1935.1
     From 8 October 1885, her married name became Hope.1 On 30 May 1886 she was granted the rank of an earl's daughter.2

     Major John Alexander Henry Hope was born on 1 March 1882.1 He was the son of Sir Edward Stanley Hope and Constance Christina Leslie.1 He married Elizabeth Maud Dunsmuir, daughter of Hon. James Dunsmuir and Laura Miller Surles, on 15 April 1907.1 He and Elizabeth Maud Dunsmuir were divorced in 1923.1 He died on 18 October 1938 at age 56.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the Canadian Scottish Regiment.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1

     Major Ian Ashley Moreton Brodie, 24th of Brodie was born on 26 September 1868.1 He was the son of Hugh Fife Ashley Brodie, 23rd of Brodie and Lady Eleanor Reynolds-Moreton.1 He married Caroline Violet Mary Hope, daughter of Colonel Montagu Hope and Constance Maud Fletcher, on 28 April 1904.1 He died on 15 February 1943 at age 74.1
