     Emily Lissey Powys was the daughter of Thomas Jelf Powys.1 She married Francis Brian Hill, son of Sir John Hill, 3rd Bt. and Mary Chambré, on 6 October 1819.1 She died on 13 February 1840.1
     From 6 October 1819, her married name became Hill.

     Maj.-Gen. Clement Delves Hill was born on 6 December 1781.1 He was the son of Sir John Hill, 3rd Bt. and Mary Chambré.2 He died on 20 January 1845 at age 63, unmarried.1
     He gained the rank of Major-General.1

     Colonel Sir Thomas Noel Hill was born on 14 February 1784.1 He was the son of Sir John Hill, 3rd Bt. and Mary Chambré.2 He married Hon. Anna Maria Shore, daughter of John Shore, 1st Baron Teignmouth and Charlotte Cornish, on 27 July 1821.1 He died on 8 January 1832 at age 47.1
     He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)1

     John Shore, 1st Baron Teignmouth was born on 8 October 1751 at St. James's Street, Picadilly, London, England.2 He was the son of Thomas Shore and Dorothy Shepherd.2 He married Charlotte Cornish, daughter of James Cornish and Margaret Floyer, on 14 February 1786 at Little Derham, Devon, England.2,3 He died on 14 February 1834 at age 82 at Portman Square, London, England.2,3
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.2 He held the office of Member of the Supreme Council [Bengal] between 1786 and 1789.4 He was created 1st Baronet Shore, of Heathcote, co. Derby [Great Britain] on 2 October 1792.2 He held the office of Governor-General of India between 1793 and 1798.2 He was created 1st Baron Teignmouth [Ireland] on 3 March 1798. He was president of the British and Foreign Bible Society on 14 May 1804.2

     Hon. Anna Maria Shore was also reported to have been born circa 1798.1 She was the daughter of John Shore, 1st Baron Teignmouth and Charlotte Cornish.2,3 She married Colonel Sir Thomas Noel Hill, son of Sir John Hill, 3rd Bt. and Mary Chambré, on 27 July 1821.1 She died on 25 February 1886.1
     From 27 July 1821, her married name became Hill.

     Maj.-Gen. Charles Rowland Hill was born on 21 July 1829.1 He was the son of Colonel Sir Thomas Noel Hill and Hon. Anna Maria Shore.2 He married Elizabeth Ridley, daughter of John Matthew Ridley, on 6 October 1874.1 He died on 30 October 1898 at age 69.1
     He gained the rank of Major-General in the Royal Artillery.1

Rowland Clement Ridley Hill1

     Rowland Clement Ridley Hill was born on 3 September 1879.1 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Charles Rowland Hill and Elizabeth Ridley.2 He married Margaret Vickers, daughter of Percy Vickers, on 6 January 1920.1 He died on 7 October 1967 at age 88, without issue.1
     He was educated at Clifton College, Clifton, Bristol, EnglandG.1 He fought in the Aden Campaign in 1904.1 He fought in the First World War, and was mentioned in despatches three times.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1918.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal Engineers.1 He gained the rank of Honorary Brigadier in 1935.1
