     Lt.-Col. Nöel Gilroy Annan, Baron Annan was born on 25 December 1916.1 He was the son of Captain James Gilroy Annan and Fannie Mildred Quinn.1 He married Gabriele Ullstein, daughter of Louis Ferdinand Ullstein, on 30 June 1950.1 He died on 21 February 2000 at age 83.2

     Gabriele Ullstein was born on 25 November 1921.2 She was the daughter of Louis Ferdinand Ullstein.1 She married Lt.-Col. Nöel Gilroy Annan, Baron Annan, son of Captain James Gilroy Annan and Fannie Mildred Quinn, on 30 June 1950.1 She died on 12 November 2013 at age 91.2
     From 30 June 1950, her married name became Annan.1
