     John Forster Ashwin was the son of Reverend Hamilton Ashwin.² He married Violet Madeleine Maunsell, daughter of Samuel Edward Maunsell and Madeline Cecilia Dickson, on 24 August 1900.¹ He died on 7 January 1903, without issue.¹

     Edith Margaret Maunsell was born on 19 November 1873.¹ She was the daughter of Samuel Edward Maunsell and Madeline Cecilia Dickson.² She married Lt.-Col. John Cyril May, son of John Coleridge Frampton May, on 24 January 1907.¹ She died on 13 January 1925 at age 51.¹
