Lewis Frederick Goodbody was born on 1 October 1819.1 He was the son of Robert Goodbody and Margaret Pim.2 He married, firstly, Rebecca Clibborn, daughter of John Barclay Clibborn and Elizabeth Grubb, on 1 February 1851.1 He married, secondly, Catherine Ellis, daughter of James Ellis, on 12 March 1862.1 He died on 15 August 1887 at age 67.1
