     William James Perry Goodbody was born on 4 February 1906.1 He was the son of James Perry Goodbody and Jane Frances Bond.2 He died on 5 June 1942 at age 36 at North Africa, killed in action.1
     He was educated at Shrewsbury School, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Pembroke College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of officer in the City of London Yeomanry.1 He fought in the Second World War.1
