     James Richard Greene was born on 18 April 1805.1 He was the son of Major Anthony Greene and Catharine Daniel.2 He died on 5 October 1825 at age 20, unmarried.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Bengal Artillery.1

     Colonel Godfrey Thomas Greene was born on 1 January 1807.1 He was the son of Major Anthony Greene and Catharine Daniel.2 He married Harriett Elliot Cowell, daughter of William Wickham Cowell, on 8 August 1831.1 He died on 27 December 1866 at age 59.1
     He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)3 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal Engineers.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1 He lived at Kirby Cane Hall, Norfolk, England.1

     Harriett Elliot Cowell was the daughter of William Wickham Cowell.2 She married Colonel Godfrey Thomas Greene, son of Major Anthony Greene and Catharine Daniel, on 8 August 1831.1 She died on 5 June 1894.1
     From 8 August 1831, her married name became Greene.

     Catherine Rosalie Greene was born on 1 February 1833 at Bareilly, Utar Pradesh, India.2 She was the daughter of Colonel Godfrey Thomas Greene and Harriett Elliot Cowell.3 She married, firstly, Reverend Henry Dupuis, son of Reverend George Dupuis and Caroline Elizabeth Stevens, on 17 January 1854.1 She married, secondly, Rt. Hon. Sir Charles Jasper Selwyn, son of William Selwyn and Laetitia Frances Kynaston, on 2 April 1869.1 She married, thirdly, Colonel Francis Charles Hughes-Hallett, son of Charles Madras Hughes-Hallett, on 21 February 1871.1 She died on 6 July 1875 at age 42 at Selwyn Court, Richmond, Surrey, England.1,2
     From 17 January 1854, her married name became Dupuis. From 2 April 1869, her married name became Selwyn. From 21 February 1871, her married name became Hughes-Hallett.
