     Ellen Douglas was the daughter of Henry Douglas.1 She married Richard Crawshay Bailey, son of Joseph Bailey and Elizabeth Mary Russell, on 7 November 1911.1 She died in 1941.1

     Sir John Palmer, 5th Bt. was born in 1735.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Palmer, 4th Bt. and Jemima Harpur.1,2 He married Charlotte Gough, daughter of Sir Henry Gough, 1st Bt., on 23 July 1768.1 He died on 11 February 1817.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Leicestershire between 1765 and 1780.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Palmer, of Carlton, co. Northampton [E., 1660] on 14 June 1765.1

Sir Thomas Palmer, 4th Bt.1

     Sir Thomas Palmer, 4th Bt. was the son of Robert Palmer and Esther Lawley.2 He married Jemima Harpur, daughter of Sir John Harpur, 4th Bt. and Catherine Crew, in 1735.1 He died on 14 June 1765.1
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Palmer, of Carlton, Co. Northampton [E., 1660] on 29 December 1732.1 They also had a son who died young and two daughters.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Leicestershire between 1754 and 1765.1

     Jennie Sewell was the daughter of Thomas Sewell.1 She married Edward Watson Short, Baron Glenamara, son of Charles Short and Mary (?), in 1941.1 She died in 2008.2
     From 1941, her married name became Short.1 After her marriage, Jennie Sewell was styled as Baroness Glenamara on 28 January 1977.
