     Arnold Bexley Vansittart was born on 24 September 1889.1 He was the son of Robert Arnold Vansittart and Susan Alice Blane.1 He died on 1 May 1915 at age 25, from wounds received in action.1
     He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 11th Hussars.1
