Colonel Robert Francis Peel1

     Colonel Robert Francis Peel was born on 30 April 1874.2 He was the son of Francis Peel and Caroline Edith Blanche Story.2 He married Alice Maude Meyrick, daughter of Sir Thomas Charlton Meyrick, 1st Bt. and Mary Rhoda Hill, on 28 November 1903.1 He died on 10 August 1924 at age 50.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Coldstream Gaurds.2 He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Woodbridge between 1910 and 1920.2 He fought in the First World War.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 4th Battalion, East Surrey Regiment.2 He held the office of Governor of St. Helena in 1920.2 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1922.3 He held the office of Governor of St. Helena and Ascension in 1922.2

Gerald Berkeley Portman was born on 11 February 1903.2 He was the son of Montague Berkeley Portman and Jessie Elizabeth Lance.1,2 He and Cicely Faulkner Oliver were divorced in 1950.1 He married, firstly, Joan Turner, daughter of Lt.-Col. George Turner, on 15 July 1928.2 He and Joan Turner were divorced in 1945.2 He married, secondly, Cicely Faulkner Oliver, daughter of Godfrey Ryder Oliver and Blanche Cicely Falkener, on 28 August 1945.2 He married, thirdly, Maj Elisabet Wohlin, daughter of Samuel Wohlin, on 17 July 1950.2 He died on 7 August 1954 at age 51.1
     He was educated at Haileybury College, Haileybury, Hertfordshire, England.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Artillery.2 He fought in the Second World War.2

     Charles Augustus Oliver was born on 16 October 1861.1 He was the son of Admiral Richard Aldworth Oliver and Flora Hutchins Bellasis.1 He married Hilda Margaret Woollcombe-Adams, daughter of Lt.-Col. Edward Woollcombe-Adams and Emma Louisa Adams.1 He died on 30 March 1945 at age 83, without issue.1
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, EnglandG.1 He was Assistant Director of Naval Contracts, Admiralty between 1904 and 1921.1 He was Assistant Director of La Commission de Ravitaiilement, Salvage and Disposal during the First World War.1 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1919.1
