     Sir Gervase Clifton, 2nd Bt. was born circa 1612.1 He was the son of Sir Gervase Clifton, 1st Bt. and Lady Penelope Blount.2,1 He died in 1676.1
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Clifton, of Clifton, co. Nottingham [E., 1611] on 28 June 1666.
