Sir Archibald Stewart of Blackhall1

     Sir Archibald Stewart of Blackhall is the son of John Stewart of Ardgowan and Margaret Stewart.2 He married, firstly, Margaret Blair, daughter of Bryce Blair of that Ilk and Annabell Wallace, in 1613.2 He married, secondly, Margaret Home, daughter of George Home, in 1624.1 He died in 1665.2
     He was Commissioner to Parliament for Renfrewshire.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)2 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.)2

     John Home was the son of Alexander Home and Janet Home.2 He married Christian Cockburn.1 He died after 23 August 1628, without male issue.1
     He succeeded as the 2nd Earl of Dunbar [S., 1605], de jure.2

     Robert Cunninghame Graham Spiers was born on 15 June 1797.1 He is the son of Peter Spiers, 1st of Culcreuch and Martha Harriett Cunninghame Graham.1 He married Catherine Anne Grant, daughter of Francis Grant and Anne Oliphant, on 21 March 1832 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.1 He died on 29 July 1848 at age 51.1
     He held the office of Advocate Sheriff of Midlothian.2
