     David Francis Wakefield was born on 5 July 1942.2 He was the son of Frank Herbert Wakefield and Gladys Evelyn Stevens.3,2 He married Caroline Diana Colvin Ingilby, daughter of Sir Joslan William Vivian Ingilby, 5th Bt. and Diana Colvin, in 1986.1 He died on 28 September 2025 at age 83.2
