     Reverend James Arthur Hervey was born on 26 September 1854.1 He was the son of Rt. Rev. Lord Arthur Charles Hervey and Patience Singleton.1 He married Margaret Augusta Douglas, daughter of General Sir Robert Percy Douglas, 4th Bt. and Louisa Lang, on 15 July 1886.1 He died on 16 October 1948 at age 94.1
     He was the Rector between 1902 and 1913 at Chipstead, Surrey, EnglandG.1

     Margaret Augusta Douglas was born circa 1866 at Grahamstown, Cape Province, South Africa.2 She was the daughter of General Sir Robert Percy Douglas, 4th Bt. and Louisa Lang.1 She married Reverend James Arthur Hervey, son of Rt. Rev. Lord Arthur Charles Hervey and Patience Singleton, on 15 July 1886.1 She died on 8 February 1924.1
     Her married name became Hervey.

General Sir Robert Percy Douglas, 4th Bt.1

     General Sir Robert Percy Douglas, 4th Bt. was born on 29 August 1805 at High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, England.2,3 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Sir Howard Douglas, 3rd Bt. and Anne Dundas.1 He married, firstly, Anne Duckworth, daughter of Colonel George Henry Duckworth and Penelope Fanshawe, in 1840.4 He married, secondly, Louisa Lang, daughter of Robert Lang, on 22 October 1856 at Hendon, London, England.4 He died on 30 September 1891 at age 86 at The Hurst, Bournemouth, Hampshire, England.2
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the 98th Foot.4 He held the office of Governor of Jersey between 1858 and 1863.2,4 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Douglas, of Carr, co. Perth [G.B., 1777] on 9 November 1861.5 He held the office of Lieutenant-Governor of the Cape of Good Hope between 1863 and 1868.4
