     Arthur Moubray Burnett, 8th of Kemnay was born on 24 December 1878.1 He was the son of John Alexander Burnett, 7th of Kemnay and Charlotte Susan Forbes-Gordon.2 He married Muriel Speed, daughter of Colonel Henry Speed Andrew Speed, on 1 October 1921.1 He died on 10 July 1948 at age 69.1
     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the King's African Rifles.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Aberdeenshire.1

     Air Chief Marshal Sir Charles Stuart Burnett was born on 3 April 1882.1 He was the son of John Alexander Burnett, 7th of Kemnay and Charlotte Susan Forbes-Gordon.2 He married Sybil P. Beresford Bell, daughter of John Bell, in 1913.1 He died on 9 April 1945 at age 63.1
     He was awarded the Boer War between 1900 and 1901.1 He fought in the West African Campaign between 1904 and 1907.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He was awarded the Order of the Nile.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1918.1 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1919.1 He was awarded the Order of the Sword of Sweden.1 He was Deputy Director of Operations, Air Minister between 1923 and 1927.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1927.1 He was Director and DCAS between 1930 and 1932.1 He was AOC of the Iraq Command in 1932.1 He gained the rank of Air Chief Marshal in 1936.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) in 1936.1 He was Inspector-General, Royal Air Force in 1939.1 He fought in the Second World War between 1940 and 1942.1
