     Charles Broun of Colstoun married Janet Kinloch, daughter of Sir Francis Kinloch of Gilmerton, 3rd Bt. and Mary Rochead.1
     He held the office of Lord of Session.1 He gained the title of Lord Colstoun [Scottish Law Lord].

Sir Archibald Cockburn1

     Sir Archibald Cockburn was the son of Sir Alexander Cockburn of Langton, 6th Bt. and Mary Ancrum.2,3 He married Lady Mary Campbell, daughter of John Campbell of Glenorchy, 1st Earl of Breadalbane and Holland and Mildred Littler, on 11 April 1719.2 He died in January 1735.4
     He was admitted to the Faculty of Advocates on 18 June 1175.4

     Harriet Cockburn was the daughter of Sir Archibald Cockburn and Lady Mary Campbell.2,3 She married Sir David Kinloch of Gilmerton, 5th Bt., son of Sir Francis Kinloch of Gilmerton, 3rd Bt. and Mary Rochead, on 16 January 1746.1 She died on 29 July 1757.1
     From 16 January 1746, her married name became Kinloch.
