     Sir Edmund Lacon, 1st Bt. was born on 22 October 1750.1 He was the son of John Lacon and Elizabeth Ward.2 He married, firstly, Eliza Knowles, daughter of Reverend Thomas Knowles, in 1779.1 He married, secondly, Sarah Mortlock, daughter of John Mortlock, in 1783.1 He died on 30 October 1820 at age 70.1
     He was created 1st Baronet Lacon, of Great Yarmouth, Norfolk [U.K.] on 11 December 1818.1

     Sir Edmund Knowles Lacon, 2nd Bt. was born on 28 February 1780.1 He was the son of Sir Edmund Lacon, 1st Bt. and Eliza Knowles.2 He married Eliza Dixon Beecroft, daughter of Thomas Beecroft, on 30 August 1804.1 He died on 3 July 1839 at age 59.2
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Lacon, of Great Yarmouth, Norfolk [U.K., 1818] on 30 October 1820.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Norfolk in 1823.1

John Mortlock Lacon1

     John Mortlock Lacon was born on 9 February 1786.1 He was the son of Sir Edmund Lacon, 1st Bt. and Sarah Mortlock.2 He was also reported to have been born on 9 February 1787 at Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, England.3 He married Jane Graham, daughter of Patrick Graham and Amelia Graham, on 15 January 1808 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.1,3 He died on 25 August 1853 at age 67 at Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, England.1,3
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 72nd Highlanders.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Yarmouth.1 He held the office of Mayor of Great Yarmouth in 1827.1

     Jane Graham was born circa 1784 at Dundee, Angus, Scotland.2 She was the daughter of Patrick Graham and Amelia Graham.1,3 She married John Mortlock Lacon, son of Sir Edmund Lacon, 1st Bt. and Sarah Mortlock, on 15 January 1808 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.1,2 She died on 1 September 1868 at Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, England.1,2
     From 15 January 1808, her married name became Lacon.

     John Edmund Lacon was born on 2 November 1810 at Yarmouth, Norfolk, England.1,2 He was the son of John Mortlock Lacon and Jane Graham.3 He married Louisa Matilda Shewell, daughter of Edward Shewell and Mary Warner, on 14 May 1840.1 He died on 17 August 1894 at age 83.1
     He was Superintendent Collector of Customs.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He lived at Duntrune, Forfarshire, Scotland.1
