     He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of officer in the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders.¹

     Ailsa Leask was born in 1909.¹ She was the daughter of Charles Thornton Leask and Catherine Jane Leslie Leask.² She married Reverend Donald MacLeod Lynch in 1941.¹ She died in 1967.¹
     From 1941, her married name became Lynch.

     Alexander Graham Leask of that Ilk was born in 1883.² He was the son of James Leask and Alice Mary Sutherland.² He married Janet Rutherford.² He died on 10 October 1973.²
     On 15 May 1968 he was recognised by Lord Lyon as Leask of that Ilk and so matric arms at Lyons Office, but resigned the chiefship to Madam Anne Leask of Leask, for her life, with reversion to his heirs.²
