     William Leslie, 4th of Wardis is the son of Alexander Leslie, 3rd of Wardis and Margaret Forbes.2 He married Janet Innes, daughter of Robert Innes of Innermarkie.1
     He held the office of Falconer to King James VI.1

Robert Macan1

     Robert Macan was born on 25 October 1774.2 He was the son of Thomas Macan and Anne Turner.2 He married Margaret Gillespie, daughter of Clements Gillespie, on 18 November 1799.2 He died in February 1820 at age 45 at Paris, France.2
     He held the office of High Sheriff of County Louth in 1814.2

     Elspeth Gordon was the daughter of John Gordon of Newton.1 She married, firstly, Sir John Leslie of Wardis, 1st Bt., son of John Leslie, 5th of Wardis and Jane Crichton.1 She married, secondly, Sir Alexander Gordon of Cluny, 1st Bt., son of Sir Thomas Gordon of Cluny, on 24 June 1641.1 She died on 2 December 1642.1
     Her married name became Leslie.

Sir John Leslie of Wardis, 2nd Bt.1

     Sir John Leslie of Wardis, 2nd Bt. was the son of Sir John Leslie of Wardis, 1st Bt. and Elspeth Gordon.2 He died in 1645, unmarried.1
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Leslie, of Wardis, co. Aberdeen [N.S., 1625] in 1640.1
