     Hercules Langrishe was baptised on 20 April 1594.¹ He was the son of Roger Langrishe and Elizabeth (?)² He married Olympe du Plessis, daughter of Lucullus du Plessis, Seigneur de Savonnières and Anne du Griffon, in April 1619.¹ He died after 10 January 1659.¹
     He was a Parliamentarian during the Civil War, raising a troop of horse.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the 44th Troop, Earl of Bedford's Regiment.¹ He was Carver in Ordinary to Charles I's wife Henrietta Maria.¹

     Reverend Nicholas Langrishe was the son of Nicholas Langrishe and Joan Stempe.² He died before 1559.¹
     He was a Fellow at Magdalen College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.¹ He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was Chaplain in 1534 at Selborne, Hampshire, England^G.¹ He was Vicar at East Meon, Hampshire, England.¹

     Reverend Peter Langrishe is the son of Nicholas Langrishe and Joan Stempe.²
     He held the office of Canon of Winchester.¹ He was deprived for nonconformity.¹

     Lucullus du Plessis, Seigneur de Savonnières married Anne du Griffon, daughter of Pierre du Griffon, Vicomte de Verneuil.¹

     Olympe du Plessis is the daughter of Lucullus du Plessis, Seigneur de Savonnières and Anne du Griffon.^2,1 She married Hercules Langrishe, son of Roger Langrishe and Elizabeth (?), in April 1619.¹
     From April 1619, her married name became Langrishe.

     Hercules Langrishe was born in 1620.¹ He was the son of Hercules Langrishe and Olympe du Plessis.² He married Anne Reading, daughter of unknown Reading, in November 1657.¹ He died after 1662.¹
     He was a Parliamentarian during the Civil War, and helped defend Bristol.¹ He fought in the Battle of Roundway Down on 13 July 1643, where he was wounded.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Captain FitzGerald's Troop of Horse, garrisoning Drogheda.¹ He was Commissioner for distributing confiscated Irish land to Cromwell's Army.¹ He was Collector of Poll Tax in 1661.¹

     Anne Reading is the daughter of unknown Reading.¹ She married Hercules Langrishe, son of Hercules Langrishe and Olympe du Plessis, in November 1657.¹
     From November 1657, her married name became Langrishe.

     John Langrishe was born on 25 August 1660.¹ He was the son of Hercules Langrishe and Anne Reading.² He married, firstly, Sarah Sandford, daughter of Colonel unknown Sandford.¹ He married, fifthly, Anne Newport, daughter of John Newport.¹ He married, secondly, Alice Blayney, daughter of Henry Blayney, 2nd Lord Blayney, Baron of Monaghan and Jane Moore.¹ He married, thirdly, Mary Grace, daughter of Robert Grace, circa 1695.¹ He married, fourthly, Frances Plowden circa 13 November 1705.¹ He died in 1735.¹
     He held the office of Mayor of Knocktopher in 1692.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of County Kilkenny in 1696.¹

     Sarah Sandford was the daughter of Colonel unknown Sandford.² She married John Langrishe, son of Hercules Langrishe and Anne Reading.¹ She died in January 1684.¹
     Her married name became Langrishe.
