     Duncan Macpherson of Cluny Macpherson, 10th Chief was the son of Lt.-Col. Ewan Macpherson and Anna Forbes.2 He married Isabel Rose, daughter of Robert Rose.1 He died in 1722, without male issue.1
     He was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Court in 1672.1

     Anne Coffy is the daughter of Rev. Dr. Thomas Coffy.1 She married, firstly, James Reynolds, son of Humphrey Reynolds and Russell Ware.1 She married, secondly, Edmund Donelan circa 1674.1
     Her married name became Reynolds.1 From circa 1674, her married name became Donelan.1

     Ewan Macpherson of Cluny Macpherson, 12th Chief was born on 11 February 1706.1 He was the son of Lachlan Macpherson, of Cluny Macpherson and Nuide, 11th Chief and Jean Cameron.2 He married Janet Fraser, daughter of Simon Fraser, 11th Lord (Fraser of) Lovat and Margaret Grant, on 2 March 1742.1 He died on 31 January 1764 at age 57 at Dunkirk, France.1
     In 1745 he was one of the most prominent supporters of Bonnie Prince Charlie, during the Uprising.1 In a rearguard action during the retreat from Derby he defeated a greatly superior force at Clifton Moor, Westmorland, and after the dispersal of the Jacobite army, was entrusted by the Prince with a sum of money for the relief of his distressed followers, and remained in hiding in the mountains with a price of £1,000 on his head.1
