     Alice de Chetham was the daughter of Sir Henry de Chetham.2 She married Sir Alexander de Pilkington, son of Sir Roger de Pilkington.1 She died in 1274.1

Sir Roger de Pilkington1

     Sir Roger de Pilkington was born circa 1255.1 He was the son of Sir Alexander de Pilkington and Alice de Chetham.2 He married, firstly, Amery de Barton, daughter of Sir Gilbert de Barton.1 He married, secondly, Alice de Otteby, daughter of Sir Ralph de Otteby, before 6 April 1295.1 He married, thirdly, Margery de Middleton circa 1310.1 He died after 11 July 1322.1
     He acquired 1/6 of the Manor of Barton through his father-in-law.1 He was Lord of the Manors of Pilkington, Cheetham and Crompton.1 He served under King Edwards I and II in Gascony and Scotland.1 He fought in the Battle of Bannockburn in 1314.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Lancashire in 1316.1

     Sir John de Pilkington was born circa 1265.1 He was the son of Sir Alexander de Pilkington and Alice de Chetham.2 He married Margery de Anderton, daughter of William de Anderton, circa 1291.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Lancashire in 1316.1
