     Euphemia Chalmers Gray was baptised on 7 June 1828 at Kinnoul, Perthshire, Scotland.2 She was the daughter of George Gray and Sophia Margaret Jameson.3,2 She married, firstly, John Ruskin on 10 April 1848 at Kinnoul, Perthshire, Scotland.1,2 She married, secondly, Sir John Everett Millais, 1st Bt., son of John William Millais and Mary Emily Evamy, on 3 July 1855 at Kinnoul, Perthshire, Scotland.1,2 She died on 23 December 1897 at age 69.
     From 10 April 1848, her married name became Ruskin.1 Her marriage to John Ruskin was annulled in 1854.2 From 3 July 1855, her married name became Millais.

     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Millais, of Palace Gate, Kensington, co. Middlesex and of St. Ouen [U.K., 1885] on 7 September 1897.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Kent.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy.1
