     Edith Mary Topham was the daughter of George Marshall Topham.2 She married Sir Frederick Mills, 1st Bt., son of Leighton Mills and Jane Ann Dalziel, on 19 August 1889.1 She died on 14 November 1916.1
     From 19 August 1889, her married name became Mills.

     Sir Frederick Leighton Victor Mills, 2nd Bt. was born on 14 March 1893.2 He was the son of Sir Frederick Mills, 1st Bt. and Edith Mary Topham.2 He married Dorian Armitage, daughter of Louis Armitage, on 11 December 1923.2 He died on 21 April 1955 at age 62.2
     Sir Frederick Leighton Victor Mills, 2nd Bt. usually went by his middle name of Victor.2 He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.1 He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, London, England.2 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Field Artillery.2 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) and bar.2 He was awarded the Croix de Guerre Belgian.2 He was with the Colonial Civil Service in 1922.2 He was Assistant Director of Public Works between 1936 and 1939 at Nigeria.2 He was director of Public Works between 1939 and 1945 at Freetown, Sierra Leone.2 He was director of Public Works between 1945 and 1947 at Uganda.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Mills, of Ebbw Vawle, co. Monmouth [U.K., 1921] on 22 December 1953.1

     Grace Mills was born on 26 December 1890.1 She was the daughter of Sir Frederick Mills, 1st Bt. and Edith Mary Topham.2 She married Engr.-Lt.-Cdr. Stanley John Reed on 22 May 1915.1 She died on 2 January 1969 at age 78, without issue.1
     From 22 May 1915, her married name became Reed.

     Engr.-Lt.-Cdr. Stanley John Reed married Grace Mills, daughter of Sir Frederick Mills, 1st Bt. and Edith Mary Topham, on 22 May 1915.1 He died on 28 May 1915 at Sheerness, Kent, England, killed.1
     He gained the rank of Engineer-Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve.1
