     Sir William Murray of Dunerne, 1st Bt. was the son of William Murray, 1st of Dunerne and Marjorie Schaw.² He married Lady Margaret Alexander, daughter of William Alexander, 1st Earl of Stirling and Janet Erskine, on 27 July 1620.¹ He was also reported to have been married on 3 August 1620.³ He died in 1646.^1,3
     He purchased the lands and territorial Barony of Newton, Midlothian in 1628.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Murray, of Dunerne, co. Fife [Nova Scotia] on 20 April 1630.¹

     Lady Margaret Alexander is the daughter of William Alexander, 1st Earl of Stirling and Janet Erskine.¹ She married Sir William Murray of Dunerne, 1st Bt., son of William Murray, 1st of Dunerne and Marjorie Schaw, on 27 July 1620.¹ She was also reported to have been married on 3 August 1620.²
     From 27 July 1620, her married name became Murray.

     He emigrated to New Zealand^G arriving on circa 1865.¹

     Harriet Green was born in 1855.¹ She married James Glennie on 3 January 1876 at Queenstown, New Zealand^G.¹ She died in 1945.¹
