     Major Sir Thomas Calderwood Dundas of Arniston, 7th Bt. was born on 27 November 1906.2 He was the son of Sir Henry Herbert Philip Dundas of Arniston, 3rd Bt. and Lady Beatrix Douglas-Home.2 He married Isabel Goring, daughter of Charles Goring and Gabrielle Beatrice Mary Alleyne, on 7 June 1933.3 He died on 2 December 1970 at age 64.3
     He was educated at Loretto School, Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.2 He fought in the Second World War, in North-West Europe, and was mentioned in despatches.2 He gained the rank of Major in the Scots Guards.3 He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1945.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for East Sussex in 1954.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of Sussex in 1959.2 He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Dundas, of Arniston, co. Midlothian [U.K., 1898] on 18 June 1967.2 On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.2

     Isabel Goring was born on 12 November 1909.1 She was the daughter of Charles Goring and Gabrielle Beatrice Mary Alleyne.1 She married Major Sir Thomas Calderwood Dundas of Arniston, 7th Bt., son of Sir Henry Herbert Philip Dundas of Arniston, 3rd Bt. and Lady Beatrix Douglas-Home, on 7 June 1933.1 She died on 5 July 1997 at age 87.1
     Her married name became Dundas.

     Reverend John Goring was born on 3 March 1824.1 He was the son of Charles Goring and Mary Ballard.1 He married Isabella Mary Thomas, daughter of Freeman Thomas and Amelia Frederick, on 24 September 1861.1 He died on 15 January 1905 at age 80.1

     Freeman Thomas was born on 23 August 1808.2 He was the son of Inigo Thomas and Hon. Frances Anne Brodrick.3 He married Amelia Frederick, daughter of Lt.-Col. Thomas Frederick and Anne Susannah Glasse, on 26 April 1836.2 He died on 15 January 1905 at age 96.2
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 8th Hussars.2 He lived at Ratton, Sussex, EnglandG.1

     Charles Goring was born in 1744.1,2 He was the son of Sir Charles Mathew Goring, 5th Bt. and Elizabeth Fagge.1 He married, firstly, Sarah Beard, daughter of Ralph Beard, on 20 April 1779.2 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Luxford, daughter of Edward Luxford, on 7 June 1798.2 He married, thirdly, Mary Ballard, daughter of Reverend John Ballard, on 7 May 1812.2 He died on 3 December 1829.1
     In 1784 he inherited the Wiston, Sussex estate from his mother.1 He lived at Wiston, Sussex, EnglandG.2
