     Sir John Home-Purves-Hume-Campbell, 8th Bt. was born on 9 August 1879 at Ecclas, Berwickshire, ScotlandG.1 He was the son of Charles Hyde Home Purves and Frances Mabel Archer.2 He married Emily Jane Ram, daughter of Reverend Robert Digby Ram and Mary Anson, on 1 October 1901. He and Emily Jane Ram were divorced in 1919. He died on 25 February 1960 at age 80.2
     He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Purves, of Purvis Hall, co. Berwick [N.S., 1665] on 30 January 1894.2 On his death his baronetcy became dormant.

     Frances Anne Jane Ram was born on 30 March 1836.1 She was the daughter of Reverend Abel John Ram and Lady Jane Stopford. She married John Robert Francis Abel Miller on 8 January 1884. She died on 24 May 1922 at age 86.1
     Her married name became Miller.

John Robert Francis Abel Miller1

     John Robert Francis Abel Miller was born on 4 July 1819.1 He married Frances Anne Jane Ram, daughter of Reverend Abel John Ram and Lady Jane Stopford, on 8 January 1884. He died on 7 December 1885 at age 66 at Villa Weinhart, Meran, Tyrol, Austria.1
     He graduated from Edinburgh University, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland, in 1840 with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)1 He was registered as a Licentiate, Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh (L.R.C.S.E.) in 1841.1 He fought in the Persian Campaign between 1856 and 1857, including the capture of Muhamara.1

Beatrice Mary Leslie Hore-Ruthven was born on 4 June 1871.1 She was the daughter of Walter James Hore-Ruthven, 9th Lord Ruthven of Freeland and Lady Caroline Annesley Gore.2 She married, firstly, Charles Lindsay Orr Ewing, son of Sir Archibald Orr Ewing of Ballikinrain, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Lindsay Reid, on 5 December 1888.1 She and Charles Lindsay Orr Ewing were divorced in 1894.1 She married, secondly, Major Charles Edward Malcolm, son of James Malcolm and Adeline Attye, on 28 December 1894.1 She and Major Charles Edward Malcolm were divorced in 1914.1 She married, thirdly, Sir Thomas Octave Murdoch Sopwith, son of Thomas Sopwith and Lydia Gertrude Messiter, on 30 December 1914.1 She died on 24 March 1930 at age 58.2
     From 5 December 1888, her married name became Orr Ewing. From 28 December 1894, her married name became Malcolm. From 30 December 1914, her married name became Sopwith.

     Lady Augusta Helen Elizabeth Boyle was born on 25 August 1876.2 She was the daughter of David Boyle, 7th Earl of Glasgow and Dorothea Elizabeth Thomasina Hunter Blair.2 She married, firstly, Charles Lindsay Orr Ewing, son of Sir Archibald Orr Ewing of Ballikinrain, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Lindsay Reid, on 28 April 1898.2 She married, secondly, Thomas Walker Hobart Inskip, 1st Viscount Caldecote, son of James Inskip and Constance Sophia Louisa Hampden, on 30 July 1914.1 She died on 12 May 1967 at age 90.1
     From 28 April 1898, her married name became Orr Ewing.2 From 30 July 1914, her married name became Inskip. After her marriage, Lady Augusta Helen Elizabeth Boyle was styled as Viscountess Caldecote on 6 September 1939.
