     Reverend John Domett Nairne was born in 1846.1 He was the son of Captain Alexander Nairne and Anne Spencer Domett.2 He married Grace Phillips, daughter of Charles Phillips, in 1874.1 He died in 1929.1
     He held the office of Canon of St. Albans.1 He was Rector at Baldock, Hertfordshire, England.1 He also had five other sons and a daughter.1

     Grace Phillips is the daughter of Charles Phillips.2 She married Reverend John Domett Nairne, son of Captain Alexander Nairne and Anne Spencer Domett, in 1874.1

     Lt.-Col. Charles Sylvester Nairne was born in 1880.1 He was the son of Reverend John Domett Nairne and Grace Phillips.2 He married Edith Dalmahoy Kemp, daughter of John Kemp and Edith (?), in 1919.1 He died in 1966.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Seaforth Highlanders.1 He lived at Compton, Winchester, Hampshire, England.1

     From 1919, her married name became Nairne.

     John Alastair Nairne was born on 5 July 1920.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Charles Sylvester Nairne and Edith Dalmahoy Kemp.2 He died on 15 July 1937 at age 17.1

     James Kemp Nairne was born on 7 December 1923.1 He is the son of Lt.-Col. Charles Sylvester Nairne and Edith Dalmahoy Kemp.2
     He was educated at Dauntsey's School, West Lavington, Wiltshire, England.1 He retired from the military in 1960, with the rank of Major, late of the Seaforth Highlanders.1 He was with The Scotsman between 1960 and 1965.1 He was a Queen's Messenger between 1965 and 1968.2

Commander David Colin Nairne1

     Commander David Colin Nairne was born on 24 August 1929.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Charles Sylvester Nairne and Edith Dalmahoy Kemp.2 He married, firstly, Yvonne Mead in December 1957.1 He and Yvonne Mead were divorced in 1962.1 He married, secondly, Jane Scarlett Walsham, daughter of Rear-Admiral Sir John Scarlett Warren Walsham, 4th Bt. and Sheila Christina Bannerman, on 17 August 1963.2 He married, thirdly, Jacqueline Clement on 7 April 1976.1 He and Jane Scarlett Walsham were divorced in 1976.2 He died on 7 June 1998 at age 68.1
     He gained the rank of officer between 1943 and 1983 in the Royal Navy.1 He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.2 He was with MOD as a Retired Officer between 1983 and 1994.1
