     He graduated from Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1933 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1

     Major Nigel Claude Oliver Napier was born on 28 August 1913.1 He was the son of Philip Henry Napier and Gabrielle Jean Harvey.2 He married Lucy Margaret Brown, daughter of Captain Arthur Walter Brown, on 14 April 1945.1 He married Hazel Therese Dolan, daughter of Joseph Dolan, in 1983.1 He died in 1994.1
     He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Artillery.1
