     Maurice Sidney Nesbitt was born on 2 February 1880.¹ He was the son of Sidney Pearce Nesbitt and Maria Grillet de la Péreuse.² He married Catherine Pickford, daughter of Charles John Pickford, in 1908.¹ He died in October 1914 at age 34 at Germany, while interned.¹

     Charles John Pickford gained the rank of officer in the Royal Navy.¹
