     Nancy Oakes was born on 17 May 1925.1 She was the daughter of Sir Harry Oakes, 1st Bt. and Eunice Myrtle McIntyre.2 She married, firstly, Marie-Alfred Fouquerreaux de Marigny in 1942.1 She married, secondly, Ernst-Lyssardt Baron von Hoyningen-Huene, son of Herman Baron von Hoyningen-Huene, on 29 December 1952.1 She and Ernst-Lyssardt Baron von Hoyningen-Huene were divorced in 1956.1 She married, thirdly, Patrick Claude Henry Tritton, son of Patrick Arthur Tritton and Judith Alice Mabel Hurt, on 1 March 1962.1 She and Patrick Claude Henry Tritton were divorced before 1975.2 She died on 16 January 2005 at age 79 at Nassau, Bahamas.3
     From 1942, her married name became de Marigny. Her marriage to Marie-Alfred Fouquerreaux de Marigny was annulled in 1949.1 From 29 December 1952, her married name became von Hoyningen-Huene. From 1 March 1962, her married name became Tritton. In 1975 her name was legally changed to von Hoyningen-Huene by Bahamian Deed Poll.1 She lived in 2003 at Marsella 44, Mexico City, Mexico.1
