     Lt.-Col. Gilbert Mark Haworth Ogilvy was born on 10 January 1887 at Arndean House, Fossoway, Kinross-shire, Scotland.1,2 He was the son of Walter Tulliedeph Ogilvy and Eleanor May Edith Lumley Haworth.3 He married Mildred Scott on 11 January 1915.1 He died on 10 June 1945 at age 58, as a result of war service.1
     He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded and was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the King's Own Scottish Borderers.1 He fought in the Second World War.1
