     Sir Michael O'Loghlen, 1st Bt. was born on 6 October 1789.1 He was the son of Colman O'Loghlen and Susannah Finucane.2 He married Bidelia Kelly, daughter of Daniel Kelly, on 3 September 1817.1 He died on 28 September 1842 at age 52.1
     He was educated at Erasmus Smith School, Ennis, County Clare, Ireland.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, in 1809 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was a practising barrister in 1811.1 He was frequently junior counsel to Daniel O'Connell to whose practice he later largely succeeded.1 He was appointed King's Counsel (K.C.) in 1830.1 He held the office of Third Serjeant in 1831.1 He held the office of Bencher of King's Inns in 1832.1 He held the office of Solicitor-General [Ireland] between 1834 and 1835.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Dungarvan
in 1835.1 He held the office of Attorney-General [Ireland] in 1835.1 He held the office of Baron of the Exchequer [Ireland] in 1836.1 He held the office of Master of the Rolls in 1837.1 He was created 1st Baronet O'Loghlen, of Drumconora, Ennis, Co. Clare [U.K., 1838] on 16 July 1838.1

     Bidelia Kelly is the daughter of Daniel Kelly.2 She married Sir Michael O'Loghlen, 1st Bt., son of Colman O'Loghlen and Susannah Finucane, on 3 September 1817.1
     From 3 September 1817, her married name became O'Loghlen.

     Sir Colman Michael O'Loghlen, 2nd Bt. was born on 20 September 1819.1 He was the son of Sir Michael O'Loghlen, 1st Bt. and Bidelia Kelly.2 He died on 22 July 1877 at age 57, unmarried.1
     He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.1 He was a practising barrister in 1840.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet O'Loghlen, of Drumconora, Ennis, Co. Clare [U.K., 1838] on 28 September 1842.1 He was appointed Queen's Counsel (Q.C.) in 1852.1 He was chairman of the Quarter Sessions, Carlow between 1856 and 1859.1 He was chairman of the Quarter Sessions, Mayo between 1859 and 1861.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Clare between 1863 and 1877.1 He held the office of Third Serjeant [Ireland] in 1865.1 He held the office of Second Serjeant [Ireland] in 1866.1 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1868.1 He held the office of Judge Advocate-General [Ireland] between 1868 and 1870.1

     Sir Bryan O'Loghlen, 3rd Bt. was born on 27 June 1828.1 He is the son of Sir Michael O'Loghlen, 1st Bt. and Bidelia Kelly.2 He married Ella Seward, daughter of James Mackey Seward, on 17 September 1863.1 He died on 31 October 1905 at age 77.1
     He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Clare between 1877 and 1879.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet O'Loghlen, of Drumconora, Ennis, Co. Clare [U.K., 1838] on 22 July 1877.1 He held the office of Attorney-General [Victoria] between 1878 and 1881.1 He was a practising Crown Prosecutor at Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.1 He held the office of Premier [Victoria] between 1881 and 1883.1 He was appointed King's Counsel (K.C.)1 He held the office of Attorney-General [Victoria] between 1893 and 1894.1

Susan O'Loghlen1

     Susan O'Loghlen was born circa 1820.2 She was the daughter of Sir Michael O'Loghlen, 1st Bt. and Bidelia Kelly.3 She married John Woulfe Flanagan on 14 September 1848.1 She died on 3 November 1880 at Drumconora, County Clare, Ireland.1 She was buried at Glasnevin Cemetery, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.2
     From 14 September 1848, her married name became Flanagan.

John Woulfe Flanagan1

     John Woulfe Flanagan was born on 21 August 1815.2 He married Susan O'Loghlen, daughter of Sir Michael O'Loghlen, 1st Bt. and Bidelia Kelly, on 14 September 1848.1 He died on 28 September 1869 at age 54, without issue.2 He was buried at Glasnevin Cemetery, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.2
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1 He lived at Drumdoe, Boyle, County Roscommon, Ireland.1
