     Major John Hugh Bouchier Phillimore was born in 1911.¹ He is the son of Hugh Bouchier Phillimore and Lucy Mary Bedford.² He married, firstly, Marjorie Isabel Summerhill, daughter of James Summerhill.¹ He married, secondly, Alison Russell Campbell, daughter of Sir Nigel Campbell, on 30 June 1955.¹ He and Alison Russell Campbell were divorced in 1960.¹ He married, thirdly, Nadine Felicité Sydney Swinton, daughter of Captain Arthur John Swinton and Naomi Millicent Frances Foster, in 1960.¹ He died on 26 May 1973.¹
     He was educated at Westminster School, Westminster, London, England^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War, he was wounded.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the 9th Lancers.¹

     Marjorie Isabel Summerhill was the daughter of James Summerhill.² She married Major John Hugh Bouchier Phillimore, son of Hugh Bouchier Phillimore and Lucy Mary Bedford.¹ She died on 27 November 1973.¹
     Her married name became Phillimore.¹

     John James Jocelyn Phillimore was born on 26 February 1942.¹ He is the son of Major John Hugh Bouchier Phillimore and Marjorie Isabel Summerhill.² He married Helen Gascoigne, daughter of Peter Gascoigne, on 1 July 1977.¹
